Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

Guess what? Today wasn't as shivery as usual, so Sister and I helped Mr. Tom feed the cows. They munched on their hay like it was the yummiest snack ever! The snow plow made the snow fly like a white blanket in the air, but Mr. Tom said we still gotta dig a lot more so our car can wiggle through to the road.

Sister Mary Claire shared a secret about heaven with me. She said it's a place where we don't have to guess about things or wait for good stuff to happen because it's all there! She told me love is the biggest thing in heaven, and it's like being hugged by a wave of happiness that never ends. And that's what makes heaven heaven. She said if we love God lots, we can feel a sprinkle of that heaven joy now. I think that's why when Sister talks about love, even the cold barn feels all cozy.

Love, Kathy
