Morning Prayer
Today, I want to start and end my day with Jesus and Mary in my heart. I imagine turning to Jesus and feeling His gentle and loving spirit all around me. It’s like He’s quietly asking me to follow Him, to stay close.
And then there’s Mary, so kind and motherly, always ready to help me bring my thoughts back to God. I think she wants me to make my daily prayers and devotions part of my life.
If I can do this every day, maybe my heart will feel a little more like theirs—full of love and peace.
MORNING PRAYER
In the name of God the Father, who made me and called me to hope and eternal happiness, I offer this day to honor and serve You.
My God and my Father, I offer You my will and all my devotion, giving it only to You. I thank You from the depths of my heart for Your goodness and kindness. Please, Lord, have mercy on me and help me grow strong in virtue, guided by Your eternal Spirit.
I believe that You live in me, watching over my heart and my life. You do such wonderful things, O God! I trust You to lead me and to help me in every trouble, because You are mighty and full of love. Please guide me, O Lord, and give me the strength to walk in Your Spirit and always stay in Your light.
Be with me today, and always, in all I do. Even when I feel my sins pulling me down, help me want to serve You perfectly. Let me stay close to You, my God, and never turn away. Keep my soul safe in Your care, and don’t let me fall into sorrow or despair. Give me strength to live in Your love and find my joy and peace in You alone.
Amen.
